Vinification of the Gérard Bertrand Minervois

This cuvée is made from the Syrah and Carignan grape varieties. The grapes are harvested by hand and destemmed, then the grape varieties are vinified separately to preserve the characteristics of each grape variety.

After malolactic fermentation, the wines are blended and part of the wine is aged for 8 months in oak barrels. Afterwards, this red wine is slightly filtered and refined after bottling for a few months in the bottle.
